Forehead Lift / Brow Lift – Hattiesburg

Incisions are commonly placed across the top of the head or just in front of the hairline. The loose skin is separated from the underlying tissues and the muscles that cause the wrinkling between the eyebrows are disrupted. The skin is redraped into position and the excess skin is removed. This effectively decreases the wrinkles, eliminates some of the muscles that cause wrinkling, and aesthetically repositions the eyebrows.
The operation is typically done under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis. A dressing is applied around the entire head and will be changed the following day. You can expect some bruising and swelling in addition to mild discomfort. Results are long lasting and the procedure rarely needs to be repeated.
